At Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 Douglas Christopher Coleman of Alvinston passed away in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Nancy and the late Margaret (1998). Dear father of Tim (Rieta) Coleman, Mary Ann (Philip) Blunt, Sharon Coleman (Tim Singleton), John (Maureen) Coleman, Christopher Coleman, Beth (Paul) Blunt and stepfather to Nancy Sue (Mike) Thomson, late Bill (Connie) Swan, John (Cate) Swan, Scott (Jenn) Swan, Marty (Mary-Anne) Swan. Loved by his 32 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Survived by one brother Jim Coleman and many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his siblings, Victor Coleman, Dorothy Smith, Marjorie Bindner-Wilson and Jo-Anne Badder. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Church, 244 Stella St., Glencoe (attendance is restricted) and Interment will follow at St. Matthews Cemetery, Alvinston (attendance is restricted).
