It is with great sadness that
the family of the late DOROTHY FRANCES
STACEY of Fortune announce her passing at Dr.
S. Beckley Health Care Centre in Grand Bank on Thursday, March 5th at
the age of 71. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful
memories are her husband, Angus of 42 years; daughter, Dawn Stacey
(Lorne) of Fortune; brother, Michael Hynes (Frances) of Trepassey; 2
grandchildren, Amber & Jaxson Stacey; plus a large circle of
relatives and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her
parents, George & Florence Hynes; sister, Mary Hannah Sutton;
and brother-in-law Johnny Sutton.
The Stacey Family will be accepting
visitors at All Saints Anglican Chapel in Fortune on Friday, March
6th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday,
March 7th and Sunday, March
8th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian will be held on Monday, March
9th, 2020 at 2:00pm. Interment will
follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fortune.
In Dorothy’s memory,
donations may be made to the Fortune Lions Club or flowers gratefully
accepted.
