Dorothy “Dora” Marie Saulnier
January 28, 1934 – July 14, 2020

SAULNIER, Dora – Age 86, of Mavillette, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in St. Alphonse, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine (Thibault) Saulnier.
Dora had the best of care at Little Dolphin. She was taken into their care, like a daughter. In her younger years, she loved doing housework. Her favorite pastimes in her later years were writing in a book, coloring and playing bingo with her friends.
She will be missed by her first family and her second at Little Dolphin.
She is survived by brother, Donald (Louise), British Columbia; sister, Anita (the late Hubert) Maillet, Meteghan; nephew, Terry (Anne) Pothier, Meteghan; niece, Cindy Saulnier, Digby.
She was predeceased by brothers, Norman in infancy, Raymond; sister, Olive Deveau.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Meteghan Funeral Home. Due to the present provincial restrictions for the COVID-19 pandemic, a private burial will take place at a later date in Stella Maris cemetery, Meteghan Centre.
Donations may be made to Jacky Comeau and Friends Cancer Help Fund Association or charity of your choice.
