McGarr, Doris Mae
Doris passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26th, 2020 at the age of 89 years at Cambridge Country Manor. She is predeceased by her loving husband James Joseph McGarr (2011), her eldest son Norm McGarr, parents Beatrice and Donald Dickieson and her sister Ruby McGarr Doris was the loving mother of Larry (Bev Ross), Cliff (Paula), Andy and Deb Sibley (Tim). Cherished grandmother to her 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Patricia (late Tom Phelan) and Audrey (Murray Mann) Doris will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff for their care and compassion and residents who became like family to Doris during her time at Cambridge Country Manor which she considered her home.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family interment will take place at Marymount Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Guelph Humane Society in memory of Doris would be appreciated. Cards are available at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St.N., Guelph, (519-822-4731) or donations and condolences can be made on line at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com
