1923-2020
The death of Dora Mary Jackson of Bath occurred on Friday, November
27, 2020 at the Riverview Manor. Dora was born November 10, 1923 in
Johnville and was the daughter of Wellington and Mary Ann (Denny)
McDougall. She was also predeceased by 1 daughter, Sharon; 1 son,
Terry; 5 brothers, Wellie, Clarence, Frank, Wavel, Harold; 2 sisters,
Edna McDougall, Elizabeth Hawkes.
Dora was the last surviving WWII member of the Royal Canadian Legion,
Florenceville, Branch # 37. She served in the CWAC in WWII and was
stationed in Vancouver.
Dora is survived by her 8 loving children, Donnie Jackson (Carol Ann),
Brian Jackson (Ina), Jeannie Broad (Stephen), Carol Oakes (David),
Wanda Stoddard (Oren), Dwayne Jackson ( Lynn), Tim Jackson and Jamie
Jackson (Lynn); many grandchildren and great grandchildren; daughter
in law, Brenda Jackson; 2 sisters, Shirley Robinson (Doug) and Wyonna
Black as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A private family interment will take place at a later date in the
Johnville Cemetery. For those wish memorial donations made to the
River View Manor would be appreciated. L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors
