Community the death occurred peacefully on Monday September 28, 2020
of Donna Mae Gallant. Beloved wife of Kenny Gallant, mother of
Michele, Margaret (Jamie Blanchard), Jeff (Rhonda), Jamie (Candice
MacKenzie). Grandmother of Madison, Gabrielle, and Sophia Blanchard.
Emily, Hailey, Cole Gallant and Reece Hunter. Survived by sisters:
Connie Doucette, Cynthia Lawless (Justin) Mary Reeves (Sharon)
Brothers: Donnie Reeves (Pauline), Wayne Reeves, Billy Reeves (Jean),
Brian Reeves (Karen), Jimmy Reeves (Kathy), Bernard Reeves (Darlene).
Sisters in-law: Noreen Yeo, Helen Gallant, Doris MacPhail (Billy),
Norma Callaghan, Mary LeClair (Frankie), Lois Gallant (Doug), Verna
McCloskey (Victor Goguen), and Karen Boland (Gary). Brothers-in-law:
Maynard Gallant (Tina), Ray Gallant (Lynda), Cody Gallant (Eleanor),
Barry Gallant (Luanne). Predeceased by parents Everett and Margaret
Reeves (McQuaid) Sister Carol Vissey, brother-in-law Joe Doucette,
sisters in-law Anna Marie and Jody Reeves. Also predeceased by inlaws
Ernest and Annie Gallant (Doiron), brothers-in-law Arnold and Mickey
Gallant, Al Yeo, Clifford Callaghan, Tommy McCloskey, Elmer Gallant,
and Norman Cormier. Resting at the Lawless Funeral Home. Due
to Covid19 restrictions a private service will take place at St. James
Roman Catholic Church with interment to follow. Our family would like
to thank all the staff at The Mount for our mother, Donna Mae’s care
over the last number of years and especially during her final hours.
Your care and compassion will never be forgotten. If so desired
memorial donations may be made to the PEI Alzheimer’s Society and the
St. James Summerfield Cemetery Fund would be greatly
appreciated.
