Obituary of Donald Reid
Donald passed away peacefully in Manoir Sacré-Coeur, Mansfield, Quebec on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Loretta (nee Gallagher) and by first marriage late Constance (nee Simpson). Loving father of James (Heather), Deborah (Brian Roberts), Christopher and David. Dear stepfather of Shirley (Paul Morin), Sharon (Herbert Fleming) and Charlene (Paul Allard). Cherished grandpa of 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Donald is survived by his sister Isabel (late Russell Postil), his sister-in-laws Vida Raymond, Jean Gallagher, Eileen Gallagher and his brother-in-law Loyal Durocher (Betty). Predeceased by his parents Walter Reid and Elizabeth Campbell and his brother Wallace (Verla). Special recognition and appreciation to the caregivers of the Manoir Sacré-Coeur for their professional services rendered to our beloved Donald during his stay. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Waltham, Quebec in private. Interment parish cemetery.
