Obituary of Donald Fredrick Morris
MORRIS – Donald Fredrick
Passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday December 22, 2020, at the age of 87 years. Loving husband of Elizabeth for over 63 years. Beloved father of Catherine (Carl DeGrandis), Sandra (David Patrick) and Robert (Kim Tardo). Very proud Grandpa of Maria, Steven, Daniel, Lindsay, Mallory and Sean. Great grandfather of Jacob, Charlie and Everly. Donald is survived by his brother Jack Morris (the late Myrtle) and by special friend Norma Green. Donald will be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He retired after 29 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force – Aero-Engine Technician and after 12 years as a supervisor at Pratt and Whitney, engine research development. Donald’s love of airplanes led him to volunteer with the Warplane Heritage Museum. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private service will be held at the McCleister Funeral Home, Brantford, followed by internment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donation may be made in memory of Donald to the Warplane Heritage Museum, Canadian Cancer Society or to the Brantford General Hospital Foundation.
