KING, Donald “Don”– Unexpectedly on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the Louise Marshall Hospital at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Doris King. Loving father of Lisa King, Scott King, Cherie Walsh, Len Walsh (Wendy), and Gary Walsh (Janet). Dear grandfather of Ryan, Patrick, Michael, Lukas, Lindsay, and Elizabeth and great-grandfather of Paris, Adrian and Kelsey. Survived by his brother Robert King (Joan) and sister Brenda Smith (Larry). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Julie, Jennifer, Dereck and Brad. Don was a loving, patient and kind soul. He was passionate about his family, golfing, reading, was a history buff and a proud Canadian. He touched the lives of many and will be missed. Cremation has taken place. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. In order to attend the visitation, you must contact the funeral home to register by calling (519) 323-2631 or e-mail at info@englandfuneralhome.com. Please note: as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, attendance numbers will be restricted. Please be aware that masks are mandatory and COVID-19 protocols are in place. A private family service will be held. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Don are asked to consider the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario.
