Obituary of Donald Gordon Shular
After a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer Don passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Thursday August 13th, 2020. Don will be missed by his loving wife of 49 years Rita, his daughter Cindy (Glenn) son John (Barb) and grandchildren Jade, Nicholas, Robbie, Rachel, Ryan and his dog Pal. Don was predeceased by his parents Ted and Hilda and brother Jack. Uncle Donnie will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Don was a proud Teamster and car enthusiast who loved NASCAR, the Leafs and Blue Jays. Don spent many hours building model cars after he retired in 2007. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion since 1977 at branch 582 in Mississauga until transferring to Kingston Branch 631 in 2019.
A celebration of life will follow at a later date. In leiu of flowers please consider a donation to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
