We, the family of the late Linda Dianne Dutton, regret to announce her peaceful passing at home on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at the young age of 62.
Born in Toronto on January 29, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Mary (Steffens) Sparkes.
Dianne lived for her children and grandchildren, who will miss her dearly. She showed a strong passion for everything she would put her mind to, and loved a good crossword puzzle, an episode of Coronation Street, or just a good conversation.
Dianne will be sadly missed by her daughters Jennifer, Jillian (Kenny), Norman (Brittany), sisters Debbie (Bob), Denise, sister-in-law Wendy Sparkes, grandchildren Cory, Carie, Jade, Jordyn, Kole, Kohen, Kaden, Kaleb, Norm, and Brittany’s first baby on the way. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, her cats Luna and Jack, many family and friends in Ontario, the father of her children Norman Sr., and a special life-long friend Mary Lou Dearing.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Melvin, and her beautiful boy Nicholas Jon, who she missed dearly.
Visitation for Dianne Dutton will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, from 1-3 pm in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. A celebration of her life will take place at 3 pm, in the funeral home, with Major Corey Vincent officiating. Words of comfort may be forwarded to her family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
