Diane C. Alderson
Shaw, 70, of Amherst, passed away at the Cumberland
Regional Health Care Centre on Friday, January 17,
2020.
Born in Springhill, NS, she was a
daughter of the late Harry & Beryl (Austin)
Alderson.
Diane taught in Moncton, NB, before
returning to Amherst, NS, where she worked at Teltech in Amherst as
well as the Cumberland County Museum, which went well with her
interest in genealogy.
Diane is sadly missed by her brother,
John (Valarie) Alderson, Springhill, NS, sister, Nancy (Michael)
Wilson, Dartmouth, NS; son Matthew, Moncton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church
St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where cremation has taken
place. Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 25,
2019, from the Jones Family Funeral Centre from 1 until 2 pm, followed
immediately at 2 pm by her funeral service, Pastor Jim Curtis
officiating. Her ashes will be buried in the Hillside
Cemetery, Springhill, with her parents, in the spring.
Donations in memory of Diane may be made
to the charity of your choice.
