Delbert spent 48 years working the oil patch from Saskatchewan, Alberta, B.C., Quebec and the arctic, it was there he made many lifelong friendships. He retired from that to take over the farming operation where he loved working with his cows and that was where he passed away doing what he loved and surrounded by his cows.
Due to Covid-19 there will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of ones choice would be greatly appreciated.
THANK YOU
I would like to take this opportunity to extend our deepest gratitude to the Police, EMTS and the Fire Department for attending to the sudden death of Delbert at our farm. It was deeply appreciated. I would also like to extended my deepest thank you to Constable Malcom who was first on the scene and the last to leave. He was very kind, professional, considerate and above all compassionate. It helped me considerable. THANK YOU.
Sharon McConnell and Families
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body but rather to skid in sideways, beer in one hand, body throughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ” Woo-Hoo~ What a Ride!!!”
