David S. Murray
1968-2020
It is with deep sorrow we announce the
passing of David Steward Murray, age 51,
of Toronto, ON, formerly of Murray Corner, NB. David passed
away peacefully with family by his side at St. Michael’s Hospital,
Toronto on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
Born in Sackville, NB, he was a son of
the late Steward and Donna (Estabrooks) Murray.
David belonged to the Mount Allison
University Alumni and the University of New Brunswcik Alumni with
years of graduation and course of study. In addition, David
was a longtime technology consultant and project manager with
Capgemini and was currently working with RSA Insurance.
Colleagues that worked closely with David remember him for being a
kind and smart man who was always full of laughs and
worked hard for his clients and colleagues to build
a better future.
David will be greatly missed by his
siblings Gail (Ken) Magee of Lr. Sackville, NS, Kimberley (Michael)
Atkinson, and their son Evan Atkinson of Shediac, NB; as well as
several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Jones Funeral Home, Sackville and Port
Elgin, NB (506-364-1300). There will be no visitation or
funeral at this time. A private family graveside service
will be held in the Pioneer Cemetery, Murray Corner next
summer.
Donations in memory of David may be made
to the Murray Corner Pioneer Cemetery.
