David McCoy 19632020

David McCoy
1963-2020
Our hearts are broken as we announce the unexpected passing of David
McCoy, age 57 on Wednesday April 8, 2020.
Beloved husband of Eleanor (Frew) and World’s Best Dad to Jillian.
Loving son of Doreen McCoy, brother of Kathleen Dale (Wayne), Doug
McCoy (Heather Miller), and Steven McCoy (Xiaolei). Predeceased by
his father Norman and his brother Gary.
Favourite brother-in-law of Jacqueline and Jim Mills and Glenda
McGeachy (Steve). Dave will be missed by his nephew Andrew Dale and
nieces Abbey and Jayme Mills and Mei McCoy.
Dave was the proud owner of McCoy Electric and worked as an
electrician for various companies over the years. Always willing to
stop for a chat, lend a hand or help a friend in need Dave was well
known in the Sheffield Community. He loved spending time at the
family cottage with his girls and Kenny and Trish McCoy. Family was
everything to Dave, he loved getting together with his siblings for
Christmas and Thanksgiving, birthdays and his cousins for “Cousin
Fest” or any event where he could socialize. He was the life of
the party and kept everyone on their toes with his infectious grin,
one liners, dance moves and practical jokes.
Due to the current pandemic a Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held
at a later date. In these difficult times, please consider offering
comfort from a distance. Send a card, a simple phone call, or
condolence on our funeral home website,
www.corbettfuneralhome.ca.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of David McCoy 19632020..
