David’s Obituary
David Stewart Willis Feeley 42 of Wentworth, NS passed away August 2nd in St Catharine’s, ON. He was born March 24th, 1978 in Amherst with a hockey stick in his hand and that is when the love of hockey began. David’s love of hockey was evident by the number of Toronto Maple Leaf items he owned and would often be found discussing stats or who was the best goalie of all times (Patrick Roy). David spent many childhood summers surrounded by numerous cousins from all over the country. He could often be found spending his spare time at the lake, a place he loved to share with all his family and friends. He loved a good adventure with anyone that was willing to put up with his bad humour. David spent most of his life as a labourer and with each new job he took the time to learn and master that trade. He always took so much pride in any job, big or small. David will be deeply missed by his father Stewart Feeley; favorite sister, Vanessa (Tom) Feeley-Tizzard; Favorite brother, Michael Feeley; niece, Abagail Tizzard; nephew, Raymond Tizzard whom he adored; brother by heart, David Steele; many loving aunts and uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Dianne Thompson; paternal grandparents, John and Pearl Feeley; maternal grandparents, Willis and Rose Thompson. The outpouring support during this time has been greatly appreciated. The stories and memories all share the same theme, he was the kindest soul that will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial service will take place at later time. Donations in his name can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
