David Blair McCulloch
June 27th, 1940 – October 7, 2020
Dave was born June 27,1940 in Gull Lake, SK, and passed away Oct.7, 2020 in Barnwell, AB.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Marg McCulloch and his daughters Christine McCulloch of Calgary and Tara McCulloch of Fort McMurray, and Marg’s children Jackie (Bernie) Bonette of Taber, Dan Paterson of Chestermere, and Blaine (Lynn) Paterson of Bonnyville, grandchildren Ren, Kallee and Cole Bonette, Lindsay Paterson (Chad Baker),
Dustin (Susan) Degenstein, Mark (Lauren) Evans and Nicole Evans as well as two great grandsons. Dave is also survived by his sisters Barbara Resta of Raymond, NH and Elizabeth Johnston of Vermilion, AB. and numerous nieces and nephews. Dave was predeceased by his parents Blair and Helen McCulloch, his sister Beatrice Magee, and his son Blair Roland McCulloch (Aug.26,2020)
Dave passed away peacefully at home with Marg and their beloved dog Harper at his side, after a long illness. Dave enjoyed the outdoors most of all. Hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, gardening, tending to the yard and keeping the bird feeders filled. He was a great cook and enjoyed making bread, bacon, sausage and jerky, smoking meat and doing some canning.
Dave will be remembered privately by his family and friends. Cremation entrusted to Zentner Funeral Homes.
