Obituary for Darrell Eldon Rolls
Darrell Eldon Rolls, Born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick June 14, 1941 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and children on September 22, 2020.
Survived by his loving wife Eleanor Rolls, son Darrell Rolls, daughter Jennifer Bradley (David), grandson’s Jonathon Savage (Kaitlyn), Cory Savage, great-grandaughter Burkley and step-grandad to Adam, Stephen, Madeline and Grace.
After moving from New Brunswick in 1947 Darrell and his parents settled in the Toronto Beach area. He attended Williams Road Public School and went on to graduate from Malvern Collegiate Institute and was a Balmy Beach Club regular.
Darrell was an accomplished sales professional in the print industry and enjoyed great success, he was also a member of the Young Men’s Advertising Club.
An avid sports fan many nights he could be found cheering on his beloved Montreal Canadians Go Habs Go! He loved his Toronto Raptors and his New England Patriots and was convinced he could out-coach Bill Belichick any Sunday. Darrell enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and spending weekends up north with family and friends. A loving man who will be greatly missed by his family.
Our profound thanks to our family physician of 35 years, Dr. Noah Forman and his nurse Lidia and the team at Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care, Mount Sinai Hospital lead by Dr. Trevor Morey and nurse Dana Spendlove for all the care and compassion they provided.
