Obituary for
Daniel Cadeau
It is with great sadness that we tell our family and friends that Daniel Lynn Cadeau passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 with family at his side. Dan married his teenage sweetheart Rose (Prince) Cadeau and they loved each other deeply during their 68 years of marriage. He is forever in her heart. Together they raised their three daughters Linda, Carolyn and Darlene. Their hearts are full with the love and guidance he brought into their lives, and he is deeply missed. Their husbands, Kingston, Keith and Eric, along with Dan’s grandchildren Sara, Megan, Jordan, Erica and Austin and great grandchildren Zachary, Isabelle and the new baby girl on her way, are grateful for his love and support throughout their lives. Granddaughter Becky is happily snuggling with her Grandpa in heaven. They will both be comforted by those hugs. Dan is also deeply missed by his sister Delia, who always had a special place in her heart for her baby brother Danny. Dan’s many other brothers and sisters, as well as his parents Albert and Martha Cadeau have undoubtedly welcomed him into their arms in heaven as well. Also keenly missing him are his beloved friends Noreen and Paul, who were like a daughter and son to him. Many nieces and nephews are mourning the loss of his presence in their lives.
Dan loved to laugh, and he loved to tease. He was affectionately referred to by his nickname “Trouble” wherever he went. He was a skilled diesel mechanic throughout his life, and was much sought after for the most challenging mechanical problems, as he was sure to find the solution. He filled a space in the lives of many friends and acquaintances and that space will forever be held in loving memory of the man who had such an impact on their lives.
Dan was a very exceptional man, who had a very deep sense of concern for the well-being of others, and he would offer his assistance to anyone in a heart beat. Since Dan’s gentle heart is no longer beating, his family ask that those who wish to honour his life might carry on his legacy by helping someone in need that they may come across. His beautiful soul will truly be uplifted.
A private family memorial will be held. Respecting his wishes, cremation will take place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Daniel
