Cyril’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of the late Cyril Power at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the age of 77 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his companion Ruby Gillam; his children: Loretta (Brian) Henderson, and David Power; his granddaughters: Camryn, and Julie; his great granddaughters: Mil, and Ella; his siblings: Marie (Bob) Temple, Edward Young (Marilyn Gatehouse), Richard Young (Bev Miller), and Aggie (John) George; his sister in law Brenda Power; his brother in law Ron McInnis; his close friends: Daisy Gillam (Rick Watkins), Kimberly Hunt (Junior Cooper); and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cyril was predeceased by his son Darryl Power; and his siblings: Kevin, Rodney, and Joan McInnis. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, March 9, 2020 beginning at 12 noon from where a funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Chapel at 2 pm with Father Ray officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
