Craig Fawcett
1981-2020
It is with great sadness that we announce Craig John
Fawcett, has passed at the young age of 38. Born on June 18,1981, in
Edmonton, Alberta – our beloved father, papa, son, brother, passed
suddenly on May 16, 2020 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Craig
will be missed everyday by Dawn, his spouse of 20 years; Joshua
(Kourtney Jones), his son; Cecilia, his daughter; his loving
grandchildren, Ezekiel, Ezra and Tanner; Janet, his Mommy; John, his
Dad; Sarah, his sister; Max Rolph, his brother-in-law; Cecil and Nancy
Charlton, his father and mother-in-law; Grandma, aunts, uncles,
cousins and many great friends.
If you were to ever see my Father you would know he always
had his fur babies not too far behind, always running around right by
his side. Loved by all his fur babies, Kaos-deceased, Loco-deceased,
Corona-age 10, Cruz-age 7, Keta-age 5. We know Craig is now
with his Nana, Pop, Grandad in Heaven watching over
us.
Joshua: Craig was an inspirational father, who’s
heart was made of gold in the purest form. He had a contagious
positive aura that brightened the room, and an amazing set of morals
that will live on through his children and grandchildren. He showed
true love for his family and brought happiness into everyone’s world,
as he will forever.
Cecilia: My beloved father was a kind-hearted,
thoughtful and intelligent man. He has always worked every
day since he was a young man, and after time he became a respectable
self-employed owner of his own company “Fawcett’s Roofing and
Contracting” and even though he struggled dealing with his Type 1
Diabetes, he always provided with things his family needed and
unbelievable amount of love and support. I do wish every person had a
blessing to meet this amazing man because he always stayed in a spot
in everyone’s hearts. My father will forever be missed and carried on
in memories and laughter.
Sarah: Craig was an amazing brother, father and son
and my hero, he was always there for me when I needed him. You went to
soon and took a big part of me with you, I will always miss and love
you always and forever.
Mommy and Dad: Son, you made us laugh, you made us
cry, you made us proud of the Family Man you had become. We
will miss “Hey Dad, My Mommy” each and every
day.
Save a spot for us because we will see you and wrap our arms
around you again. Love always and Forever. Dad and your Mommy
XOXO
Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral

Special Poem written by Simon
Streeton (AKA Skalla) – dear friend of
Craig’s:
The
world of COD is a smaller place now one of the greats has
gone.
One less
person to play the game, one less to log on.
He’s captured his last radio,
he’s blown his final base.
There’s a hole now at the table
and no one to take his place.
And then he
fought his final boss, the old man with the
scythe.
No one ever
wins that one. No one comes out alive.
He’s gone, but not forgotten. Too
many memories to part.
Good times
were had by one and all. We keep him in our
hearts.
And when he
gets to the Pearly Gates, and St. Peter checks the
slate.
He’ll ask Kaos “what have
you done why shouldn’t I make you
wait?”
Then Kaos he
will stand up straight and bash him in the
face!
And then
he’ll say “now listen bud this is my rightful
place.”
“I’ve killed more players
than anyone else, I’ve amassed a massive
score.
Players
trembled at my name, and they wanted me in their
corps.”
“I know
every inch of every map and where to find the
mark.
I’m
an expert in every weapon type, I’m the sodding
benchmark”!
Then
he’ll stroll right through the gates straight into the
blinding glare.
He’s played his last for this
lifetime, unless, and we can but hope,
they’ve got COD UO up
there!
Those who
knew Craig, even just a little, lost a shining light in their
lives.
RIP – We LOVE
and MISS you so much XOXO
