Obituary
Clifford Allen Hedberg
On Monday, October 19th, 2020, surrounded by family, Clifford Allen Hedberg lost his long and hard fought battle with cancer at Sechelt Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Lynn and his children, Jarret, Matthew and Katherine Wilton(Kelly) and his grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Shirley Norrish, sister Darcy Ouellette (Wayne), brother Randy (Randall) and his grandfather, Gordon Norrish.
He is predeceased by his father, Hilmer Hedberg in 1980.
Cliff lived his life surrounded by family and friends and each held a special place in his heart. He was very young when he first started working in the logging industry and loved his job as a logging truck driver both off highway and on. He was Mr. Fixit for many of his vehicles and those of friends, where a good laugh and a beer were the perfect payment. He built his treasure, a 1978 Toyota Landcruiser 4×4 (lovingly known as The Toy) from scratch over the course of many years.
His jokes were hilarious only in his own mind because the telling of the joke often missed a few components. He wrote and collected music and poems. He loved playing his guitars, learning new songs and sharing them with friends. He had a ready laugh and a twinkle in his eye.
His family would like to thank all of his amazing doctors, nurses and technicians who supported him through his journey.
A celebration of Cliff’s life will be held at a later date.
