Claremont’s Obituary
NICKERSON, Claremont Ethran – 86, Sandy Point, formerly of Barrington Passage, passed away on July 8, 2020 at Roseway Manor. Born on October 28, 1933 he was a son of the late Wallace and Evelena (Rennehan) Nickerson. Survived by his wife, Carolyn (Christie); daughters, Debbie Nickerson and Jill (Ricky) Nickerson; brother, Billy (Amy) Nickerson; grandsons, Jonathan Hicks, Jorden (Emily) Nickerson and Chad (Kara) Nickerson; step children, Curtis (Selena) Foster, Lisa O’Connell; Trevor (Nicole) Munroe and Michelle (Carmen) Brannen; several step grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Claremont loved traveling with his wife, Carolyn and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadians and the Toronto Blue Jays. Claremont spent most of his career as a fisherman. He also managed CSI Fisherman’s Co-Op and Cape Ann Seafood’s. He enjoyed hunting and was a jack of all trades. Claremont played hockey with the Old Timers and was a ball player with the Barrington Tradesman. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 13 at H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. Please bear in mind that a maximum of 50 people can be in attendance at the funeral service. There will be a livestream of this service on the Huskilson’s website (www.huskilson.net) for those unable to attend due to gathering restrictions. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the West Head Cemetery or any charity of choice.
