C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce son décès à Sudbury le mercredi 16 décembre 2020 à l’âge de 68 ans. Fille de feu Raymond Pilon et de feue Edna (née: Frappier). Elle sera regrettée par sa petite sœur choisi Julie Boucher (Don). Elle laisse dans le deuil sa sœur Louise Plante (Jacques) et ses frères Gaston Pilon (Karen) et Réginald Pilon (Pauline). Prédécédée par son frère jumeau Emanuel. Tante bien-aimée de Natalie Di Pietro (Mario), Raymond Pilon (Kate), Gabriel Plante (Kate), Roxanne Wan (Chris), Luc Plante, Renée Pilon, Julie Pilon, Chlöe Boucher (Eric), Célèste Boucher et plusieurs grande nièces et neveux. Claire était membre du Conseil des Écoles Séparées, journaliste pour le Voyageur, le Sudbury Star et La voix du nord, Fondatrice du journal le Dialogue et auteure du livre Le Moulin à Fleur. Elle a fait partie de plusieurs conseils d’administration francophone. Elle était un modèle dans la communauté francophone et laisse un vide. En raison de pandémie et pour la protection de notre famille et nos amis un service aura lieu au printemps 2021 et sera annoncé. It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the age of 68 years. Daughter of the late Raymond Pilon and of the late Edna (née: Frappier). Sadly missed by her chosen little sister Julie Boucher (Don). Survived by her sister Louise Plante (Jacques) and her brothers Gaston Pilon (Karen) and Réginald Pilon (Pauline). Predeceased by her twin brother Emanuel. Loving aunt of Natalie Di Pietro (Mario), Raymond Pilon (Kate), Gabriel Plante (Kate), Roxanne Wan (Chris), Luc Plante, Renée Pilon, Julie Pilon, Chlöe Boucher (Eric), Célèste Boucher and many great nieces and nephews. Claire was a member of the Separate School Board Council, journalist for le Voyageur, the Sudbury Star and La voix du nord, founder of the paper le Dialogue and author of the book Le Moulin à Fleur. She held position on many francophone councils. She was a model in the francophone community and leaves a void. Due to the pandemic and for the protection of our family and friends a service will be held in spring 2021 and will be announced.
