Christopher Lee Billy – Shinnullsut-t
Sunrise: September 8, 1973 – Sunset: April 4, 2020
It is with great sadness we advise of the sudden passing of our dear relative Christopher Lee Billy at his home in Waiwakum Indian Reserve No. 14 on Saturday April 4, 2020. Christopher was born to his mother Donna Billy on September 8, 1973 in Squamish, BC. He grew up on Stawamus IR No. 24 with his mom and dad Donna Billy and Jerome Mellon. Christopher attended Squamish Elementary School, Britannia and Howe Sound Secondary Schools, Douglas College Justice Institute, and was licensed as a Loader/Motor Operator. He was extremely proud of his accomplishment with anger management programs and appreciative of acknowledgements in his success and offers to continue into this field. Chris will be remembered as a ‘people person / Social Butterfly’, he loved sports and was a fan of the Blue Jays and Calgary Flames as well as played slow pitch with local teams.
Christopher loved family and will be dearly missed by his mother Donna Lynn Victoria Billy (Jarome Sr.); brother Jerome J. Mellon Jr.; special sister: Theresa (nee: Wallace) McConnell (George); god daughter/niece Sue Jean Wallace Deshasies; aunties Patricia Brown (Neil) & Susan Mellon (Doug); grand uncles Robert & Richard Billy; grand aunts Barbara Charlie & Sally Nahanee.
