Obituary of Carol Lorraine Whiting
Carol Lorraine Whiting, age 78 of Cranbrook, B.C., passed away peacefully on July 6, 2020.
Carol was born on September 23, 1941, to Alex and Eva Gall, in Peace River, Alberta. She was raised and went to school in Nampa, Alberta. In 1979 she moved herself and her three children to Cranbrook, B.C., to be with her family.
She loved her grandchildren so much and was so proud of them all. She loved gardening, crafts and having big family holiday dinners. She loved watching baseball, especially Toronto Blue Jays and curling. She knew every players stats from the beginning of season to the end.
Carol is survived by her daughter Sheri (Daryl) Doll, son Brian (Andrea) Whiting, grandchildren Nicole (Don) Green, Chad Doll, Kayla Doll and Katelyn Dungey, her great grandchildren Aria and Jaxson Green, her sister Joanne (Herby) Namisalo, brother Terry (Linda) Gall, and many cousins, nieces and nephews, and her best friends for so many years Sharon Lacey and Dianna Grabenhof.
The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to Leslie and all the nurses and care givers of Joseph Creek Care Village for all the years of love and care you gave Carol. Thank you!
