It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Bridget Ellen Leveque of Grand Bank announces her passing. Bridget passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Saturday, October 24th, 2020, at the age of 79. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her son; George Leveque (Cathy)
sisters, Mary M. Myles (Sam), Suzanne Wells, Loretta Matterface, Jean Grandy (Gary), Bernadine Tucker (Robert),Sheila Bungay (Sandy), Diane Stacey;
brothers, Rene Stacey (Mary), Pat Stacey (Joyce), Gerard Stacey (Hazel), Paul Stacey (Celeste), Brian Stacey; grand children, Benoit (Julie), Damien, Vincent; great grand child, Hanna; sister in law, Jeanette Stacey; brother in law, Frank Hillier; last surviving aunt, Beth; members of the Leveque and Fouchard families of St. Pierre.; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Bridget was predeceased by parents, Patrick and Theresa Stacey; husband, Maurice Leveque; sisters, Yvonne and Madonna; brother, Dennis Stacey; brother in law Mansfield Matterface; parents in law Maurice and Georgette Leveque;
The Leveque/Stacey Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Monday, October 26th, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Due to the current Covid-19 regulations this will be a walk through visitation with a maximum of 20 people permitted inside the building at a time. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at The Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Point May, NL on Tuesday, October 27th, 2020 at 2:30 pm.
Interment to follow at Roman Catholic Cemetery-Point May. In Bridget’s memory donations may be made to , a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
