Obituary of Brian Kehler
On the morning of Saturday, December 5, 2020, Brian Kehler of Niverville, Manitoba passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital with his loving wife Myra by his side.
Brian was born to Peter and Betty Kehler on July 10, 1953. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Myra; son Mackenzie (Tracey); daughter Chelsea (Nathan); grandsons Samuel, Brady, and Grayson; brothers Jack (Sally), Gary (Ingrid), and Darryl (Irene); and countless friends.
Brian grew up in the Tourond area and married the love of his life, Myra on May 25, 1974. Brian and Myra spent a short time in Winnipeg before settling on an acreage south of Niverville a few years later where they raised their two children and created a lifetime of fond memories. Brian will always be remembered for his warm smile, his kind-hearted nature, and his remarkable ability to brighten a room. He enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors, whether that was on the farm, at the lake, or most of all – with a fishing rod in his hands. He planned on spending the next few years teaching his grandsons the finer points of driving tractors, picking haskap berries, whistling, boating, and sometimes maybe even catching fish.
Given the current circumstances, the family is planning a celebration of Brian’s life on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the Whitetail Meadow (just west of Niverville). We are hopeful that by that time we will have the opportunity to gather and remember our dear husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to a charity of your choosing.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Brian
