1973-2020
MacIsaac, Brian Keith, age 47, of Stellarton died suddenly on
November 9, 2020, at Cape George Point, Antigonish
County.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Lauchie and Betty (Smith)
MacIsaac of Antigonish.
Brian graduated from Dr. John H. Gillis High
School. He graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with
a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Education, and a Masters Degree in
History and English before earning a Doctorate of Physiology from
Memorial University in Newfoundland.
Brian taught in schools in Alberta and British Columbia prior
to taking administration positions in Truro and Stellarton.
Between teaching in the west and returning to Nova Scotia, he became a
member of the Ontario Provincial Police stationed in Northern Ontario.
At the time of his death, Brian worked at the Dartmouth Medical Centre
and lately, due to COVID-19, out of his home in
Stellarton.
Brian was an avid boater, swimmer, fisherman, and
recreational scuba diver. Cape George was his “Garden
of Eden”. This he passed on to Corinne and
Gracie.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife of 14 years,
Corinne Sampson-MacIsaac and his loving daughter, Gracie. He
is also survived by his brothers, Dr. Mike MacIsaac (Joanne),
Stratford, ON; Stephen (Sue), Bridgewater; Andrew (Jennie), Goderich,
ON; father-in-law, Edward Sampson, Tatamagouche; and brother-in-law,
James, Royal Tunbridge, Wells, UK.
Predeceased by his mother-in-law, Valerie
Sampson.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held
Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135
College Street, Antigonish. Funeral Mass will be held Monday
in St. Ninian Cathedral at 10:00am, Reverend Donald MacGillivray
presiding.
Family flowers only, please. In lieu of flowers,
donations to a charity of your choice appreciated.

VISITATION PROTOCOLS
All visitors are advised to bring a mask when
attending a visitation at our funeral home. There are
markings on the floor which indicate six-foot distances as well as
markings that indicate 6 feet from the family.
It is important that you respect those
markings, and physical contact with the family is to be avoided at all
times. The province’s social
distancing guidelines can be found here.
At the direction of the Province of Nova Scotia, we
will not be handling Mass or donation money, though cards can be made
available for you. You will be asked to provide your name
and phone number for the purposes of tracing should a case of COVID-19
be reported.
Anyone who is exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or who
could be considered high-risk of contracting the coronavirus should
avoid attending the visitation and funeral. The list of
