Brian Ambrose Willis
1944-2020
Willis, Brian A., age 76, of
Tracadie, passed away in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital,
Antigonish on October 12, 2020.
Born in Northern Ireland, he was the son of the late Ambrose
and Dorothy Jean (Boyle) Willis.
Brian spent his early years in Northern Ireland as an
electrical engineer. He immigrated to Ontario in
1974. The main part of his career was spent in drafting and
design. He was the most beloved husband of Roberta, devoted
father of Karen and was delighted to welcome his new son in law
Travais to the family. Brian brought great joy to all their
lives. They will sorely miss his crazy sense of humor, his
generosity, and his kindness. He was special and they will
love him forever.
He is also survived by his brother Neal (Margaret) Willis,
niece, Heather and nephew, Barry of Northern Ireland. Brian
also leaves behind his adopted, loving family from Ontario, Bob and
Karen, Anne and John, Geraldine and Rene and their
families.
Special thanks to Dr. Jane Howard, Palliative Care Nurses at
St. Martha’s and VON of Antigonish.
A private funeral service will be held in C.L. Curry Funeral
Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Thursday with Reverend Sue
Channen presiding. Cremation to follow. A
