Brendan passed away Friday May 8, 2020, with his sister Marilyn by his side. May 12, 2020 would have been his 77th birthday.
We will miss him and his infectious smile dearly.
Brendan was the eldest of nine children born and raised in Vancouver and lived his entire life in Vancouver.
He is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Duncan, Eileen Murphy (Patrick), and his brothers Kevin (Kelly), Terry (Peggy) and David (Vivien) Donnelly.
He is predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Margaret Donnelly and his brothers Quentin, Michael and Kenneth Junior.
Our gratitude goes to all the staff at VGH Willow Pavilion Older Adult Unit for their care over the last 3 years.
Our special thanks to Drs. A. Mehra and K. Little and SW Patience Lee for their dedication to Brendan and his family.
A celebration of life for Brendan will take place at a later date due to current health guidelines.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 11AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Family and friends are welcome to attend as the church can accommodate up to 46 people under the COVID-19 guidelines.
