It is with great sadness that the
family of the late BLANCHE CROWLEY of
Grand Bank announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care
Centre in Burin on Saturday, July 18th, 2020 at
the age of 89. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful
memories are her son, Gary Crowley (Juliette) of Fortune;
grandchildren, Travis (June) and Erika (Adam); great-grandson, Liam
Crowley; sister, Rose Green of Grand Bank; sister-in-law, Margaret
Hickman of Fortune; special niece, Judy Foote (Howard) who she loved
as a daughter; caregivers, Ella Simms and Tina Billard; plus a large
circle of relatives and friends.
Blanche is predeceased by
her husband, Carl Crowley; parents, Thomas & Sarah Hickman;
parents-in-law, Herbert & Mary Crowley; sisters, Delsie Grandy
(James), Martha Petrie (Frank), Mary Healey (Victor), and Jean Buffett
(Hubert); brothers, John Hickman, and Garfield Hickman (Florence);
brothers-in-law, Caleb Green, Gordon Crowley, Lyman Crowley, and
Wilson Crowley; sisters-in-law, Alice Stewart, Margaret Gold, and Jean
Billings.
In honoring her wishes,
cremation has taken place.
Due to the current Public Health
Advisory of COVID-19 a funeral service
will take place at a later
date.
