Betty E.
MacPhee, 88, of K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, passed away peacefully at
her residence on Sunday, May 17, 2020. Born in Turtle Creek, NB she
was the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Cole)
Milton.
Betty was
retired from NB School District #2 (Custodial) and was a member of the
Moncton First Church of the Nazarene and the Seniors Group within the
Church. She also enjoyed knitting, camping, and
bowling.
Betty will be
sadly missed by her daughter, Sherry O’Connor (Grant) of
Kitimat, BC; Son in Law, Brian Murray, of Coldstream, Carleton Co.;
grandchildren, Darren (Tammy), Mark (Trish), April Dawn (Mark),
Sandra, Tracey (Tanner), Julie, Kelly (Mike) and Heidi; great
grandchildren, Kyle, Brandon, Jared, Alex, Aspen, Joshua, Victoria,
Eva, Benjamin, Isaac, Amelia, Nathan, William, Ewan, Isla, Fenn,
Rosalie and Maisie;
In addition to
her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alvin MacPhee (2017)
and daughters, Linda (1986) and Darlene Murray
(2018).
Betty’s family
would like to thank the nurses and staff of K. E. Spencer Memorial
Home for the love and care given to Betty during her
stay.
Private Family
Graveside Service will be held at Wesleyan Union Cemetery,
Riverview. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) in care of
arrangements.
In memory of Betty, donations to
the Arthritis Society (arthritis.ca/)
or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
