Obituary for
Barry Ronald Weiss
The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the age of 83 years, his beloved wife Donna Weiss (nee Jennings) by his side. Loving father of Darren (Lori-Ann) Bouvier, Rick (Tracy Capyk) Bouvier and Candace (Marjan) Vilhan. Cherished grandfather of Madison, Skylar, Dakota, Bryanna and Tyrus. Barry will be sadly missed by many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Trevor Weiss and many nieces, nephews and great friends. He is predeceased by his parents Irene and Arnold Weiss, brother Brad Weiss, brother-in-laws Joe Jennings and Reino Majalahtii, nephews Shawn Jennings and Austin Simon and his niece Laurie Blair.
Barrie was born on March 24, 1937 in Geraldton, Ontario. He was an avid fisherman and some of his greatest memories involved being on the water with a fishing pole in hand, surrounded by friends and family. His style was old fashion and a firm handshake was his bond. The family would like to give a special appreciation to John Sedwick and family (next door neighbor) for always looking out for them.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later time. Remembrance donations to charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE
