Barb was a life-long resident of Chatham-Kent with memberships in I.O.D.E. (Independent Order of the Daughters of the Empire), Christian Women’s Association and Chatham Baptist Church. She made the transition from “city girl” to farm wife and shared her love of needlework, knitting and music, as well as her strong faith in God, to all who crossed her path.
In spite of the dementia issues which plagued her last few years, she managed to remember many quaint sayings which amused the faithful staff at Riverview Gardens and have become part of her legacy in our family. Cremation has taken place.
