It is with great sadness the family of Barbara Garrett, 83, wife of the late Robert Garrett of Bathurst announces her passing on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 , at her residence.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Violet (Imhoff) Boucher.
She is survived by her children: Glenda Chiasson (Claude) of Pokemouche, Barry (Laura) of Bathurst and Karla Roy (Paul) of Belledune.
Granddaughter Jennifer, whom she helped raise; grandchildren: Julie, Monica, Peter, Zachary and Jarid.
Great-grandchildren: Avery, Carson, Becca, Jack, Grayson and Cooper.
She is also survived by seven sisters: Deanna Boudreau, Joyce Lavigne, Martha Couture, Brenda Arseneau, Wanda Boucher, Maureen Hachey and Colleen Coppel and one brother, Clayton.
Besides her husband Robert, Barbara was predeceased by a granddaughter Melanie Chiasson; sisters: Angela Russell and Emma Chamberlain; brothers: Henry, Doran and Gary.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Church by invitation only.
