Barbara Ann Brace
November 28, 1955 – June 20, 2020
Passed peacefully away on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at the age of 64, Barbara Ann Brace (nee Frampton) after a courageous battle with cancer. Her loving family was by her side.
She is predeceased by her father, Rev. Reginald Frampton and brothers-in-law, Ernest Brace and Arthur Brace.
Barbara leaves behind a loving and devoted husband of 43 years, Lindo Brace; sons, Jerry (Tasha) and Jason; grandson, Gage; her mother, Vera Frampton; sisters, Linda (Eugene) Murphy, Sandy (Lloyd) Hollett, and Pam Frampton (Glenn Payette); brother, Gerry (Sherri) Frampton; uncle, Leroy (Marilyn) Riggs; aunt, Cathy (Winston) Newbury; and many other loving uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; brothers-in-law, Harold Brace, Eric (Patricia) Brace, and Gerald (Irene) Brace; sisters-in-law, Olive Smith, Marjorie Brace, Ivy (Charles) Mundy, Marion (Calvin) Branton, Rita (Sydney) Macleran, and Florence (Leonard) Whalen; many wonderful and life-long friends, including Bernice Smith; as well as her niece, Trina who helped her through her illness.
A dedicated teacher who loved children, Barb was an angel among us — a gentle person who impressed everyone she met with her kindness and generosity. We will miss her forever, and her cherry cakes and lemon pies.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23 at the Salvation Army Citadel in Chance Cove followed by the funeral at 3 p.m.
