1942-2020
The death of Arthur John Llewellyn Black of Bath occurred on Sunday,
October 25, 2020 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born
August 12, 1942 in West Glassville he was the son of the late John and
Sylvia (Wall) Black. He was also predeceased by 1 sister, Audrey; 4
brothers in law, David Patrick, George Turnbull, Donald Logue and
Jerry Patrick.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sharron; 5 children
Andrew Black (Sandra), Anthony Black (Lynn), Angela Black (Paul),
Shawn Black (Jessica) and Lisa Black; chosen daughter, Lorelee Edgar
(David); 15 grandchildren, Ben Keenan (Zoe), Katie Black, AJ Black
(Mary), Amanda Campbell, Morgan Myshrall (Chris), Desiree Arsenault,
Aaron Arsenault, Draven Hudie, Wynter Hudie, Drew Black, Caleb Edgar,
Kelsey Edgar, Carter Edgar, Keanna Edgar and Buddie Dugan; 8 great
grandchildren; Jack, Patrick, Brendan, Alex, Dylan, Layla, Aubree and
Bryce. 4 sisters, Allie Patrick, Leona Turnbull, Irene Logue and Ethel
Morgan (David) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended
family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from
4-8 pm. Respecting COVID -19 regulations face masks are required. A
private funeral service will be held from the L.R. Giberson Funeral
Chapel. Rev. H.M. Lewis and Pastor David Arbeau will officiate. Public
interment will be in the Oakland Community Cemetery on Wednesday,
October 28, 2020 at 3:00 pm. For those who wish, donations made to the
NB Lung Association or DunRoamin Stray and Rescue would be
