BRUCE EDWARD ARENS, the beloved husband of Renate Arens, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on Sunday, May 24th, 2020, at the age of 63 years.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Dellafield and Peggy Arens, as well as his brothers, Kerry, Mark, and Brian.
Besides his wife Renate, he is survived by his son Kris (Jody), daughter Karina (Boyd), four grandchildren Bryson, Brianna, Caderick, and Dallin. He is also survived by his brother Dell (AnnaMarie) and their children and grandchildren.
Bruce enjoyed fishing, playing cards at the German Canadian Club, going out mornings, meeting people and having coffee with them. He enjoyed his John Wayne movies. He was a compassionate, thoughtful, and an honorable man who loved his family and animal companions. Bruce was loved for his humor, respect, and generous spirit. Even though his time was short he touched the lives of so many people and he will be truly missed.
Cremation has been held, and a private interment will be conducted at a later date.
