Anthony “Tony” Joseph Finlay
August 02, 1957 – July 21, 2020

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved spouse, father, brother, and friend. Anthony “Tony” Joseph Finlay passed peacefully away surrounded by his family after a valiant battle with cancer on July 21st, 2020, at age 62 years.
Predeceased by his parents Alonzo and Nora Finlay.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his spouse Hannah Lavhey; children Mason (Clarice), Nathan and Bailey; sisters: Alice (Gerald) Molloy and Marie (Toby) Gibbons; brothers: Don (Candida), Fabian (Joanne), Brendan (Marlene) and Alonzo (Gail); as well as a large number of relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre as well as to the wonderful paramedics and palliative care team who helped Tony in his battle. It meant a lot to know how much you thought of him and the great lengths you went through when he needed your help.
As per Tony’s request, cremation has already taken place.
Visitation will be at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Thursday July 23rd, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm as per COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24th, 2020 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, St. Shott’s.
