Anna’s Obituary
JACQUARD, Anna Marie – Yarmouth, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, July 6th, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital at the age of 54. She was born on February 5, 1966 to Freda (Muise) Jacquard and James Jacquard, Yarmouth. She is survived by her siblings, Donna Muise, Shelburne; Jean Jacquard Surette (husband, Stephen Surette), Pleasant Lake and Thomas “Tommy” Jacquard, Yarmouth. She loved her nephew, Brandon Surette (wife, Reanne Surette), Hants Co., and her niece, Jeannesa Goodwin (husband, Ryan Goodwin), Argyle, and she thought the world of her two great nephews, Blake Goodwin and Bo Goodwin. Anna enjoyed working at the Kaye Nickerson Adult Service Centre and was a volunteer for BG Club at Evangel Assembly, where she was loved by all the children. Anna also enjoyed volunteering at the soup kitchen. She also won many gold medals through Special Olympics, having competed in floor hockey in Calgary and track and field in Ontario, and she also loved participating in bowling through Special Olympics. Anna, with that infectious smile that everyone loved, will be missed by so many. Visitation will take place from 2-4 Sunday afternoon, followed by the funeral at 2 p.m., Monday, July 13, both at Evangel Assembly, Myrtle St., Yarmouth, Pastor Nathan Hill officiating. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, seating will be limited at both the visitation and funeral service, and social distancing guidelines must be followed. Interment will follow in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund.
