FERT, Anna of Oakville, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at the age of 59, after a brief but hard fought battle with cancer. She was born in Jawor, Poland, daughter of the late Wiktor Poliszczuk and loving mother Wladyslawa Poliszczuk. Anna was a long time employee at the Ukrainian Credit Union for the last 35 years. Beloved wife of her husband Marek. Loving mother of Mark and his wife Amy and cherished grandmother (Baba) of David and Nathan. Greatly missed by her loving mother Wladyslawa and brothers Igor (Barbara), Slawek (Tosia) and Andrzej. Much loved aunt of Myra and Peter (Kasia) and Gerry. Visitation to take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home in Oakville, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, on Monday, August 3 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00, with Parish prayers and Rosary at 7:00. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, please call the funeral home at 905-844-2600 to schedule a time to attend the visitation or Mass. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 4 at 10:00 at St. Anthony’s Polish Catholic Church, 40 John St., Oakville. Masks are mandatory in the funeral home and church. Private family burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hastings, Ontario will take place following the funeral. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Virgin of Fatima Association -Save Me O Holy Queen (www.virginfatima.org) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
