Ann Roberta Lockhart – age 65, of Kentville, passed
away Sunday, January 19, 2020 in the Valley Regional Hospital,
Kentville. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of Barbara Gertrude
(Yeaton) Stirling, Blomidon Court, Greenwich and the late T.
“David” Stirling. Ann was a charter member of the Rotary
Club of New Minas Sunrise, a member of Group Café and
attended the Canard Community Church. In addition to her mother, she
is survived by her husband, Philip “Phil” Fuller Lockhart;
four daughters, Amy (Damon) Edwards, Calgary, AB; Rebecca (Ken) Covey,
Bedford; Heather Lockhart, Kentville; Emma (partner, Neil Vinson)
Lockhart, Moncton, NB; two sisters, Patricia (David) Gowland,
Woodville; Muriel Stirling, Centreville; three brothers, Russell
(Jeannie) Stirling, Cape Breton; Stephen (Sherry) Stirling,
Centreville; Mark (Debbie) Stirling, Centreville; a sister-in-law,
Ruth Anne Stirling, Kentville; four grandchildren, Isaac, Elliot,
Arthur and Raegan. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a
brother, Thomas Stirling. Cremation has taken place. There will be no
visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception,
will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in the White
Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Brian Keezer officiating.
Burial will take place in the Canard Burial Ground, Upper Canard.
Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation, the Canard Community Church or the charity of your choice.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral
Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
