Obituary for
Amalia Scanga
On March 7, 2020, Amalia Scanga of Edmonton passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Amalia is survived by her two sons, Dante (Barb) Scanga and Mario (Diana) Scanga; and sister, Olga Hanas; all of Edmonton. Predeceased by her husband, Nicola Scanga; and her siblings, Guiseppe, Maria Teresa, Frank, Ettore, Fernando and Benito.
Thank you to the nursing staff at Jasper Place Long Term Care Center and Dr. Sereda for their compassionate care.
Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Funeral Mass Friday, March 13 at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Reverend George Puramadathil CFIC officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
