Obituary of Alice Jean Walmsley
On August 28, 2020 Alice Walmsley (nee Mesenchuk), loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, passed away.
Alice was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan on September 4, 1936. She grew up in Creston and moved to Cranbrook in 1957 where she met and married Tom Walmsley in 1959 and raised three daughters. Her love for her family and her kindness and generosity were surpassed only by her strong love for Jehovah God.
She will be forever in the hearts of her husband Tom; her children Carol (Wayne) Michel, Lee-Ann (Allen) Crane, and Janet (Michael) Pinchin; her grandchildren Amy Spence, Andrea (James) Carrie, Matthew (Taylor) Pinchin, and Colton (Sheona) Pinchin; and her great grandchildren Parker and Brynn Spence, Carter Pinchin, and Cassidy and Braiden Carrie. We will all miss her hugs, her strong support, and the way her eyes would light up whenever she was with her family.
Because of COVID the family will be gathering for a private celebration.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
