Alice’s Obituary
Mayne, Alice Sarah – 94, Oxford, passed away Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 in High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill. Born in South Victoria, she was a daughter of the late Ottie and Leona (Jollymore) Stewart. Alice volunteered with many different organizations and was well-known and liked in her community. She is survived by her sons, Frank (Donna) and David; daughters, Leona Langille; Helen (Robert) Feeley; Deborah (David) Duffy; Karen (Nelson) Feltmate; Kimberly (Daniel) Blades; brothers, Aubrey and Hilton; sisters, Annie Beaumont; Agnes (Curry) Purdy; Sheila (David) Stiles; 26 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry; daughter, Bonnie Jean Oderkirk; brothers, Jim and Guy; sister, Doris Perrin; grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, July 19 in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (902-447-2930), followed immediately by a graveside service in Thomson Cemetery.
