Alfred LeBlanc
1931-2020
Alfred LeBlanc, 88, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded
by his family, on Tuesday January 14, 2020 at the Stella Maris de Kent
Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent. He was married to Alice (Landry)
LeBlanc. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late
Lionel and the late Joséphine (Robichaud) LeBlanc.
Alfred was a heavy equipment operator for Modern Paving for
approximately 40 years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Alice, his four daughters; Lucille
LeBlanc (Gilles Robichaud) of Dieppe, Paulette LeBlanc (Normand) of
Moncton, Phyllis LeBlanc (Roland), Jocelyne LeBlanc-Gallant (Daniel)
of Bouctouche, four grandchildren; Daniel, Gabriel, Margo and
Cédric as well as two great grandchildren; Noah and Zoey. He
also leaves to mourn his five sisters; Dora Despres (Paul-Emile),
Dorilla LeBlanc (Gerard) of Cocagne, Victorine Maillet (late Roger),
Aline Cormier (Georges Allain) of Bouctouche, Bernadette Caissie
(Daniel) of Moncton, five brothers; Laurie (Edna), Noël (late
Wilma) of Moncton, Omer (Jeannine), Albéo (Léonie) of
Bouctouche and Jean-Paul (Shirley) of Sus as well as several
nephews and nieces.
Alfred was predeceased by two brothers; Donald and Emerie.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 Rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Friday January 17, 2020 from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 and on Saturday January 18, from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral
Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic
Church, Bouctouche on Saturday January 18, 2020 at 11:00 am with
interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Alfred’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT
Foundation or to the Saint-Jean Baptiste Parish Fund.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr M. Williston,
Dr R. Fontaine, Dr E. St-Hilaire and her team, the Extra-Mural Kent
and the team at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital.
