Albertine Gallant
1931-2020
Gallant – The death occurred
peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Summerset Manor,
Summerside, on Friday, October 9, 2020, of Albertine Gallant, of
Summerside, aged 89 years. Born in New Brunswick, she was the daughter
of the late Joseph and Francoise (Blanchard) Landry. Survived by her
children Maurice (Lorelei), Carol, Micheline (Kevin Cairns), Linda
(Paul) DesRoche, Paulette (Johnny Robinson) and Pauline (Boyce White);
grandchildren Stacey, Michele, Dionna, Pam, Christopher, Aubrey,
Denise, Bradley and Neil; and by 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased
by her husband Joseph Peter “Jack” Gallant; grandchildren
Dustin, Gary and Alexis; and by brothers and sisters Eugene,
Marguerite “Maggie”, Célestin, Alphonse,
Hyacinthe, Judes, Virginie, André, Ida and Lilianne.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. A private funeral mass
will be held at St. Paul’s Church, Summerside. Interment in
St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations to the
Alzheimer Society or Diabetes Canada would be
appreciated.
