Memorial Donation
Albert Laundry passed peacefully away at his home in New Perlican, NL, in the presence of his loving family on May 21, 2020
Predeceased by parents Hubert and Effie Laundry; sister Dinah Richard, brother Chess Laundry; sister-in-law Shirley Laundry; brother-in-law Dick lvany; father and mother-in-law Aaron and Annie Peddle; sisters-in-law Mary Jones, Shirley Pennell, Margaret King, Elizabeth Batt, Roella Peddle, Ann Peddle and Valerie Peddle; Brother-in-laws Bill Jones, Byron Batt, Gerald Peddle and Jim Batt.
Albert is survived by his loving wife Prentzelene, of 54 years. He also leaves behind: sons Keith Laundry (Lesa), Derek Laundry (Liz); daughter Christine Critch (Dean); grandchildren Michael Critch (Elizabeth), Matthew Critch (Nakita), Amanda Hoskins (Mitchell), Jessica Laundry (Alex), Courtney Laundry, Lauryn Laundry, Dylan Laundry, Patrick Laundry and great grandchildren Brooklynn, Hunter, Gabriel, Arielle and Marshall. Also left to mourn; sister Jessie lvany; brothers Bill Bartlett {Mabel), Clayton Laundry (Diane}, Roland Laundry and Calvin Laundry {Vivian); brothers-in-law Norman Peddle, Stirling Peddle, Ola Richard and Ross Peddle {Diane); sister-in- law Glenys Batt, and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Albert was an active and proud member of the Salvation Army Church for many years and has served the Lord and community through his work with the Salvation Army. He will be remembered as a loving caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Albert had a contagious laugh, an amazing sense of humor, a generous heart and a gentle nature. He will always be remembered by all who knew him.
The family would like to extend a special thank you Dr. Faris, Nurse J. Gushue and Homecare workers; Jamie Ryan, Deanne Ryan and Susan Coates, who gave Albert the loving care, respect and gentleness through the final weeks of his journey and for the tremendous support they gave to his wife as well.
Due to COVID-19 there will be no visitation, cremation has already taken place, there will be a celebration of life at a later date. Donations in his memory can be made to the New Chelsea Cemetery Fund in care of the Lower Trinity Salvation Army Corps.
