Alan Grant Wilson
Passed away in his 77th year in Southampton, Ontario. Alan was a loving husband to Lesley, father to Michelle, Glenn (Christine), Todd (pre-deceased), Amanda (Greg) and grandfather to Alexa, Jordan (Tai), Victoria, Bronwyn (Jamie), Cassandra, Austen (Madeline), Jacob and Ethan.
Alan was born and raised in Scotland where he married his highschool sweetheart, Lesley in 1965. Alan and Lesley remained in Canada to raise their family. With their young family, they lived for two years in England and two years in Italy where Alan developed his love of Italian food and wine. After returning from Italy, Alan and Lesley opened a picture framing business in Ottawa that they ran successfully for 10 years.
Alan was an avid squash player, traveler and bridge player. He had a long and fulfilling career as an electrical engineer, however his main passion and love in life was his family.
